This Privacy Policy explains how Todobo ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use the Todobo mobile application (the "App"). By using Todobo, you agree to the practices described below.

Todobo is built around a simple principle: your voice recordings are a tool to help you capture tasks — not a data asset for us to collect, profile, or monetize.

2. How Your Voice Data Is Handled

Todobo has a backend that powers task extraction, but it is designed to minimize what we know about you:

• Audio only, nothing else: When you record a thought, only the audio file is sent to our transcription/AI service provider(s) to convert speech to text and extract tasks. We do not attach your name, email, device ID, or account information to that audio when it's sent for processing.
• No mapping back to you: We do not store a record linking a specific recording or transcript to your identity for tracking or profiling purposes.
• No training on your data: Your audio and any resulting transcript are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI/machine learning model — not by Todobo, and not by our third-party providers.
• Not retained longer than necessary: Audio is processed to extract your task and is not kept around for any purpose beyond delivering that result back to your device.

3. What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect or store personal data for the purpose of identifying who made a recording.
• We do not build voice profiles, behavioral profiles, or advertising profiles from your usage.
• We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers or advertisers.

4. App & Task Data

To provide core functionality, Todobo stores the tasks, due dates, and reminders you create so they're available in your task list. This content is used solely to run the app's features (showing your list, reminders, and calendar sync) and is not used for any other purpose.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party services solely to operate Todobo:

• Transcription / AI provider(s): Used to convert your audio into text and extract tasks. Only the audio is transmitted — no personal identifiers are sent alongside it.
• Payment processor: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor. We do not store your raw card details.
• Basic analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics may be used to understand app performance and improve the product.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data in transit. While no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, we design our systems to minimize the data we handle in the first place.

7. Children's Privacy

Todobo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data associated with your account. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below — we'll respond promptly.
